Special Olympics Alaska (SO-AK) is revamping the Coaches’ Education System (CES) to ensure that all SO-AK athletes receive quality coaching.  SO-AK is committed to improving on current education and communication practices.  SO-AK Sports Manager will implement the sports plan which calls for Sport Commissioners, ensuring that all Head Coaches are qualified and certified and improving communications concerning rules and expectations. 

This is good practice but is also necessary to meet requirements enforced by Special Olympics, Inc. SO-AK’s goal is to provide the safest and best sports training and competition experience for our athletes.
